New Arrivals

As part of our Good Life topic Year 3 have had some new arrivals in our classroom. We have an incubator with 10 eggs which we hope will hatch into chicks. We will keep you posted on their progress.

Gardening

As part of our Good Life topic Year 3 have been busy planting seeds in our vegetable garden. We have planted potatoes, runner beans,, broad beans, tomatoes, lettuce and strawberries which, once they have grown, we hope to share with the rest of the school.
This will help us to understand how plants grow and what a plant needs in order to grow.
Lets hope we get a little more sunshine to help them on their way!

A surprise awaited the Y5 children this morning .... a whole day spent learning about programming a computer to operate lights, music and the movement of a fair ground ride.
