Thankyou Mr Morton!!
Last Friday, Mr Morton (Natasha's dad), came and talked to
year 6 about his experiences, feelings and life as a soldier. He told them all
about the food he ate, the kit he had to carry and what he did in his free
time. The children found his talk really interesting and listened intently. In future
lessons they will hopefully be hearing from more people who have served in the
Army, RAF or the Navy and comparing soldiers nowadays to those in World War II.
Do you know anybody who could share their experiences with the children?
