On Monday, the year 4 visited Gloucester Docks and the British Waterways museum as part of their work on water. The day included a workshop on building bridges and the chance to see some different bridges in action during a journey down the canal.

Another great day.. the children loved exploring the museum, 'building' bridges with card and then having lunch onboard the boat whilst they went for a boat ride down the canal..it was a pleasure to go with them x

I enjoyed discovering things in the museum, trying to make a bridge from card that would hold the weight of a scissors and the boat trip was fab
Thia looks like a rely good trip wish we had done it when we were in year4

It was a great school trip! I learned a lot about different types of bridges and had loads of fun on the boat and eating lunch!
