KENTE CLOTH WORK

WOW!! Well done class 3 on producing some absolutely amazing artwork. The children looked at some examples of African Kente cloth and then went on to design their own patterns. They then weaved their two designs together to create these amazing pieces of work.

I teach in a school in Bangladesh teaching grade 6 students studying visual arts, am I right in thinking that year 4 are only 8 years of age? I have shown this work to our students who agree that it is truely amazing.
